“Best of the best!  Lauren did a fantastic job with all of our hair and couldn't imagine it any differently for the day.  We had a very windy day and all our hair stayed gorgeous right to the end of the night. Super friendly, very relaxed whilst doing her work and her attention to detail is brilliant. Honestly can't recommend a better hairdresser for your wedding!"

  • Do I need a trial? Do my bridesmaids need one?
I recommend having a trial before your wedding. This is to get to know one another, have a look at your ideas and spend the time getting to know your hair type and to have a go at different styles to see what suits you best. It is a really good Idea to book your Dress fitting the same day to really get an idea of how it will all look. I would recommend the same for your bridesmaids although it is not essential.
  • How can I prepare for my bridal trial?
Bring any hair accessories that you will be wearing on the day of your wedding. Also bring your veil, this is a great way to check what veil height is right for you and your style.
  • When is the best time to book for a trial?
Book your trial when you have your dress. Or when you are venturing out for your wedding dress shopping to get an idea on style. I would recommend anything from 6 months to 6 weeks before your wedding date to ensure you are happy with your style that works right for you.
  • When should I wash my hair?
Please wash your hair the day before your wedding. This is really important. Hair that hasn’t been washed can get greasy and make it very difficult to put up. This is because the hairs natural flowing strands are weighted down with the hairs natural oils which you do not want for your day. We want body, shine and beautiful clean strands of hair that fall effortlessly in your photos without being weighed down with unwanted oils. I will recommend to you what is best for your hair type. I will prepare your hair on the day of your wedding with all my product potions to ensure your hair looks fabulous for your special day.
  • How can I prepare my hair for the day of the wedding?
Leave your hair in its most natural state. No heat appliances washed the night before and combed through when wet. Shower before you have your hair put up and make sure you do not get it wet in the shower. The morning of your wedding just sit, relax and wait until I arrive to transform you.
  • What hair products do you use?
I use everything! I like WOW products, got2b, Schwarzkopf, Loreal and many more. I like to shop around for the best products. However, if you have any specific requests please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate this.
  • Which areas do you cover?
I cover Cornwall and parts of Devon. The travel cost is 50p per mile. The travel cost will be clearly applied to your invoice. If you are interested in booking for services further afield, please feel free to get in touch so we can discuss further.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit for my wedding hair, if so how much?
A 40% non-refundable deposit of the overall invoice for your wedding day must be paid to secure your wedding date. The deposit amount received will contribute to the final total amount for the service provided on your wedding day. This will be clearly marked on your invoice. The remaining payment for the service is to be paid no later than 6 weeks before the date of your wedding day.
  • What do I do if I need to cancel my booking?
If for any reason you cancel your wedding booking, your cancellation must be confirmed via email and not a message on social media/ text. The deposit of 40% is non-refundable, and a refund would only be considered in extenuating circumstances.
  • What will happen if you need to cancel my wedding hair?
In the highly unlikely event that I am unable to provide your wedding hair due to ill health or unforeseen circumstances, I would inform you as soon as possible and would make every effort to secure a replacement Hair Stylist. The replacement would receive a full brief, including a comprehensive list of products used during the trial. If I was unable to find a replacement Stylist, a 100% refund would be provided. I would like to stress that this is in extreme circumstances.
